King Charles
Tiffany is OBSESSED with this dog. It is called a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I think it epitomizes the "puppy dog face." She won't stop talking about it.

I have been in a long distance relationship with my girlfriend for about 1 1/2 years now. Our relationship is truly a product of the internet-technology-global-awesomeness generation. We met online on a social networking site. Our first actual, in-the-flesh meeting was at a Feist concert in L.A. Neither of us lives in L.A., but we met there.
Because of the distance, we have accustomed to web chatting (we have also accustomed to paying for expensive flights to see each other).
Me: "Hey babe, I'm so grateful for the internets. Without them, I wouldn't be able to see you as often as I do. Our conversations would be limited to the phone. I love you honey bunny.
Her: "I know it's so great. I love you to."
Me: "To commemorate this awesome occasion, I've decided to blog about this."
Her: "..."
Me: "Yeah, and I'm going to post pictures of us web chatting!"
Her: "Ugh..." [face palm]

Introduction
Welcome to my blog. It's about time I start one of these things.
I am currently a law student at the University of Utah. 3L, so I'm done soon (thank freaking goodness). I've liked it; it's not the worst hoop a person could jump through I suppose.
I like music. Currently in a Weezer phase, but phases change often. Top 3: Wilco, Radiohead, and, well, Weezer. See, the first two are locked in place; the third is a revolving door. Before Weezer, it was Deerhoof; before them Grizzly Bear. Maybe someday it will go back to those guyes. Other previous third-positions include: Jens Lekman, Beatles, Sigur Ros, and many others. Feist, Arcade Fire, you name it.
My workout of choice is running.
I voted for Barack Obama today. I started out as a Republican, voting for Ralph Nader in 2000 (I was a young freshman and excited about the idea of a protest vote, you know, because it would be nice if we had more than two major parties. I don't really care anymore) and Bush in 2004. I then became a Democrat. I now consider myself an independent, and I plan on being one of those for awhile. I'm excited for an Obama presidency (assuming he wins, which isn't too hard to assume).
I love to travel, read, do artsy stuff, follow politics, listen to music (see above), be with my girlfriend Tiffany, joke around, watch TV (The Office, Lost, Arrested Development, Food Network, etc), watch movies (Eternal Sunshine, Napoleon Dynamite, Batman, etc).
I'm religious (Mormon), but not as much as I would like. I'm working on that.
I love to waste time on the internet.
